Forests provide an abundance of essential services that people rely on. They are a principal source of timber, fuel, food, and medicine for people all over the world. They are complex ecosystems that support a plethora of biodiversity and help regulate global climate patterns. Forests are essential to the health and wellbeing of people and the planet, yet forests are being lost at an unprecedented rate across the globe.
Free to Grow is committed to reversing this trend by planting and growing trees on deforested land to provide the biological and social scaffolding on which biodiverse forests can regenerate. We partner with individuals, governments, businesses, and communities to plant trees wherever forests have been impacted to improve the lives of people and restore balance to the planet.
